In order to offer leisure and entertainment alternatives to the young people of the rural territory of Arribes del Duero different activities, mostly sports related ones, were held during the Summer months. Thus, through the summer months in several occasions championships and sports events were organised which attracted young participants during the summer period.

The sports activities presented were:

-Kayak Polo championship, in 2008, using the Almendra dam as a perfect location to play this sport.
-Beach volleyball championship, in 2008 and 2009.
-Tennis and frentenis championship, in 2008 and 2009.
-Football-7 championship, in 2009.
